Chess!! Rating improving... slowly... or not at all

This is my rating on the correspondence chess website http://www.schemingmind.com staring at 1298 I am now reaching the dizzying heights of 1533, the thing is 1500 is the starting point, it started badly as I started LOADS of games and subsequently lost them, mainly due to the fact I'm crap at chess... In fact I don't feel like I'm much better at the game now.

Over the past few months I've been trying hard to keep my game list down as I was finding it hard to keep up, one thing that happened was that I went on Holiday thinking I had set my holiday mode on the site, but must have forgotten to confirm so for the fortnight all my clocks was still ticking.

I came back to have lost a lot of games so they was over all left to do was to apologise and move on, but lots of games was still going on and the time was dangerously low. Still months on I have games that have only a day left on the clock, that I make my move each day and come back to it on the next.

Anyway, I'm down to 23 games now so that's getting manageable, my next step is to start analysing my games to see how what I should have done, Hopefully this time next year I can show further improvement.

That is unless twitter has taken over my whole Internet experience and I've degenerated into short statements that consist of what I am currently doing, or even thinking of doing if I wasn't banging incoherently at the keyboard.
