Found it [MF]taz found Kington Lane Loop No. 1 - Tattle Bank (Traditional Cache)

Out on a Saturday afternoon to do some caching with the family, we also borrowed a friends dog, who became a geohound for the day.

Found this one quite quickly, nicely hidden.

Looks like were following Max and Trevor, they have visited all of today's caches, could have been hours before us so no chance of bumping into them.

[MF]taz found Kington Lane Loop 5 - Cutlers Farm (Traditional Cache)
17:35

Didn't expect this to be a nano as I hadnt read the listing yet but spotted straight away, which is a pleasent surprise for a nano.

[MF]taz found Kington Lane Loop 6 - Woodfield Hill (Traditional Cache)
17:45

When we saw all the Sheep and Lambs about near to GZ and surrounding area we was expecting to have to pass this one by.

However there are advantages to caching with a 3 year old, the noise projecting from the child made the sheep get up and find somewhere else, I don't thint the sheep would have been worried by our (adopted for the day) goehound as he looks a bit like a sheep as its a mini-poodle.

Found after a short search, worried about kneeling in sheep poo!!!

[MF]taz found Edstone Adventure (Traditional Cache)
18:04

Found while out and about doing the series, some wonderful views while walking over the field, found after checking clue.

Liz wants to point out that it wouldn't apply to her as it's not at the same level.

Lee, Liz, Vicky & Shadow the geohound

[MF]taz found Kington Lane Loop 7 - Valley View (Traditional Cache)
18:18

A nice quick find, tremendous views.

Our friends mini-geo-poodle for the day felt a bit tiered after we had done this one, so we carried him for a bit.

TFTC

Lee, Liz, Vicky & Shadow the geo-poodle

[MF]taz found Kington Lane Loop 8 - Manor Farm (Traditional Cache)
18:38

Found easily with clue, was barking up the wrong tree.

A bit of a tantrum of the little one as she wanted the water squirter, but I didnt think I had any swaps, luckily I found something suitable to swap... thing is I have no idea what.

Anyway, the water squirter got used in the shower when we returned home as we was all suitably muddy after our visit.

The mud around this cache is only the beginning.

[MF]taz found Kington Lane Loop 13 - Langley Range (Traditional Cache)
19:46

After missing out a few of the loop to avoid the mud, and finding more mud the alternate route, found this one after a short search, onwards to look for the last and then heading home.

[MF]taz couldn't find Kington Lane Loop 14 - End of Loop (Traditional Cache)
At the end of the series a slight low note with this being a DNF, however it didn't spoil our overall enjoyment of the series.

Many thanks Stag Ramblers for placing these caches, was glad to see that this had been found today so it's likly that the cache is here just down to us not being able to find.

[MF]taz found PH Avenue (Traditional Cache)
13:44

Out caching with asburj @ co.

Took a while to find this one, with three of us plus the dog searching.

While there are no corners for muggles to sneak up, they do seem to appear out of nowhere, one remarked that we must be on some kind of Easter Egg hunt, we told him it was something like that... he went away happy in the knowledge that there was people dafter than he was.

Once found, signed the log and returned.

[MF]taz found PH Smelly Cows (Traditional Cache)
16:45

Struggling with dilema regarding claiming the find or having it as a DNF.

Will post it as a find, but if CO feels it should be changed please let me know.

We (asburj & co + me) found the covering of the cache at the location but no inards or log book, it also looks like an animal has been nibbling at it.

We have re hidden the "cache"

I hind sight I could have placed a micro in it's place + a log; but was not thinking straight at the time.

[MF]taz reported PH Smelly Cows (Traditional Cache) needs maintenance
Cache still technical here, inards and log book missing.
[MF]taz found PH Room With a View (Traditional Cache)
16:55

Out caching with asburj & co.

Once found we couldn't spot the extra co-ords; I think we expected it to jump out at us so we guessed it was missing, re reading the listing + logs it looks like its not as easy as that.

Out caching with asburj and co.

This is the last one of the day for us, and this one make 17 for today and the bulk of the PH series only one (or two) to come back and do, a good excuse to revisit this beautiful part of the world.

Thanks for the cache and the series.

Found it [MF]taz found Merrion's Wood - Middle (Traditional Cache)
16:31

After a bit of a cache drought I was feeling thirsty now we have some Easter caching, even if we have a bit of rain I was starting to get stir crazy in the house so time to get out and do some.

Wetting my whistle with a couple of local ones that have been on my to do list for far to long.

A nice quick find, and a welcome one after not finding any caches since February.

TFTC, dint put much in the log book as it was piddling it down.

Cheers

I ment to come back later that day to find it.

I'll add a photo of this location @ 4am

#4amproject

A bit late in the day today but it was a strange day, it started at 03:24 getting up before the alarm (that I found out later the volume was right down so it wouldnt have woke me anyway) that I had 03:30 ready for the start of the 4amproject that has been organised by @karenstrunks who over the last few months has been working very hard to get this off the ground.

I found out that taking photos at night is not as easy as it looks, and I really need to get to grips with my camera and work out how to use some of those features that you don't need to worry about in the daytime.

Today also brought me to the world of flickr that of course I was aware of and visted to view others photo's but I did not have an account before today, I'm glad I have as it looks like fun.
